Why We Chose to Be Out of Network
Why We Are Out-of-Network
At Premier Wellness and Myofascial Release, our decision to be out-of-network is a very intentional one. It allows us to provide the level of care we believe our patients truly deserve — care that is thoughtful, unrushed, and centered around you, not insurance limitations.
Time That Allows Real Healing
Insurance-based models often require high patient volume and shorter visits. By remaining out-of-network, we are able to offer longer one-on-one sessions, including 90-minute evaluations, giving us the time needed to fully understand your history, listen to your concerns, and treat the root causes of pain — not just the symptoms.
One-on-One Care, Always
Your entire session is spent with your licensed physical therapist. There are no aides, no overlapping appointments, and no rushed transitions. This ensures focused, individualized treatment and a therapeutic environment that supports nervous system regulation and healing.
Freedom to Treat the Whole Person
Insurance often dictates how and what we treat. Being out-of-network allows us the clinical freedom to use the approaches that are most appropriate for you — including John Barnes Myofascial Release, pelvic floor therapy, gentle manual therapy, and nervous system–informed care — without being constrained by arbitrary visit caps or diagnosis requirements.
A Calmer, More Intentional Environment
We believe healing happens best in a space that feels safe, quiet, and supportive. By not participating with insurance, we can maintain a peaceful treatment environment without the pressure of volume-based care.
Transparency and Simplicity
Our rates are straightforward and transparent. There are no surprise bills or delayed insurance decisions. While we do not bill insurance directly, we are happy to provide superbills that patients may submit to their insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on their plan.
Care That Matches Our Values
Ultimately, this model allows us to stay aligned with our mission:
to provide high-quality, compassionate physical therapy that honors the complexity of the human body and supports long-term healing.
